60's Nights & Cabaret nights

Over the many years we have been hosting live 60's groups,soul artistes and great comedy at the Legion, they have proved to be hugely successful. You're guaranteed a top quality live act along with a great atmosphere and real value for money. It's always best to book first or phoning to check availability. Get your tickets early to avoid disappointment!

Saturday 13th February


We start the new season with two superb acts, club regular and former vocalist with such bands as Union Gap, The Fourmost & The Mersey Legends Graham James always shines when he comes to the club. With a great range of songs from 50’s through to 80’s. We also warmly welcome back the sharp humour and wit of top cabaret artist Ali James. Ali is also a superb vocalist and always leaves our audiences wanting more.   Entry £12.50  CANCELLED



Saturday 13th March



From the instruments they play, the costumes they wear and the fantastic tunes they play ‘The Revolvers’ have quickly established themselves as one of this countrys premier 60’s tribute bands. Artists covered in the show include: The Beatles, The Kinks, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Spencer Davis Group, The Everly Brothers, The Beach Boys, The Supremes, The Searchers, Sam & Dave, Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, Dave Clark Five,The Hollies and Roy Orbison.The Revolvers have performed at famous venues such as The Cavern, Liverpool, Hampton Court, and have also toured parts of America and Europe. The Revolvers were also recently handpicked to perform at the Premiere after party for the worldwide Premiere of 'MADE IN DAGENHAM' in London's West-End! Making their first visit to H & Reach with a 2 hour tribute show celebrating one of the 60’s and 70’s greatest bands, The Hollies. The Hijacked Hollies faithfully replicate the distinctive vocal harmony sound of this legendary group.

Playing a string of ‘Hollies’ classic hits with a few more obscure favourites thrown in for good measure ‘The Hijacked Hollies’ will leave you humming all the classic hits all the way home from 'He's Not Heavy', 'The Air that I Breathe', 'Here I go Again', 'Bus Stop' 'Just one Look', 'On a Carousel' to 'Carrie Anne' + many more   Entry £17.50

Yet another welcome return. A Celebration of Franki Valli and the Four Seasons presented by Europe's No. 1 tribute, The Ragdolls come to Heath & Reach


The Ragdolls will take you on a musical journey through the sounds of one of the most successful bands of all time. Classic songs such as Sherry, Walk Like a Man, Oh What a Night, Working my Way Back to You, Big Girls Don't Cry, My Eyes Adored You and many more, recreating the iconic sound of The Four Seasons. These guys proved a massive hit on their last appearance here, so please book early to avoid disappointment. Entry £20

Lollipops & Moptops is a must see show for all 50's & 60s music fans! A trip down nostalgia lane for those that can remember the 50's & 60's first time round and a fantastic night out for those who want to experience and missed out on the days of Lollipops and Moptops.
Join funny man Alan Mosca, Formerly of Freddie & The Dreamers and the former compere of the 60s touring show The Sensational Sixties Experience, as he retells the stories of yesteryear with song and a touch of comedy. Rave on with Buddy Walker as he brings back to life the look and feel of Buddy Holly, who can forget hits like Oh Boy, True Love Ways plus many more.
National Music Tribute Award Winners The Temple Brothers who are well known throughout the world for their fabulous tribute to The Everly Brothers, Steve & Colin Temple have for over 15 years toured with their unique harmonies and uncanny look and feel of Don and Phil, performing beautiful songs such as All I Have To Do Is Dream, Let It Be Me, Cathy's Clown, Crying In The Rain plus many more.
And finally The awesome Dreamers - Formerly Freddie & The Dreamers as they recreate hits including You Were Made For Me, I'm Telling You Now, Over You, If You Gotta Make A Fool Of Somebody plus many more.
Lollipops and Moptops is a 2 hour show which has been described as pure class, nostalgia and fun.

International soul sensation - Hayley Ria Christian

Once again we a privileged to present one of this country's top soul artists. From appearing in the stage show ‘Sister Act’ as Delores Van Cartier to touring with Sheridan Smith, Hayley has an impressive list of performances to her credit. Last year she starred as Gladys Knight in a touring stage show which played locally at the Dunstable Grove Theatre. Tonight she will be ‘Singing from the Soul’ with Soul, Motown & Northern soul hits.  Entry £12.50

Always a crowd pleaser ‘Gary Beckwith’ presents top rock ‘n’ roll songs from 50’s and the current rock ‘n’ roll circuit. Tonight will be raising funds for ‘Little Hearts matter’ a national UK charity offering help to anyone affected by the diagnosis of single ventricle heart condition.From initial antenatal diagnosis, through treatments and into life at home, the charity works with children, young adults and families to reduce the isolation, fear and lack of understanding created when a child is diagnosed as having half a working heart. Gary has a very strong local following so early arrival is recommended.                       Entry payable on the door £7.50

Tasha Leaper is one of the most sought Madonna tribute acts in the UK. This dynamic show features the undisputed Queen of pop’s greatest hits, along with the looks, the voice and the moves to make for a truly authentic experience! Very seldom do we have the privilege to welcome a local artist of such a high calibre. Alison has played on the West End stage in numerous musicals including Sandy in Grease opposite Luke Goss, Ruby Keeler in Jolson the musical + Jailhouse Rock, The Producers and many more. Jimmy Jemain & The Knights Shadows

Jimmy Jemain was voted The Official UK No 1 Cliff Richard act and Europe’s finest most professional tribute to Cliff. Jimmy starred as Cliff in ‘Cliff the musical’ in London’s West End. Jimmy has had the pleasure of meeting Cliff on manyl occasions and Jimmy’s vocals are so close that Cliff himself is quoted as saying “Spot on, a bit too good!” Jimmy covers almost every hit record Cliff has ever recorded, from ‘Move it’ to the latest album. While Jimmy leaves the stage for costume changes the Knight’s Shadows will entertain you with their wonderful tribute to The Shadows, playing all the favourites like Apache, FBI and Foot Tapper. Great Elvis tribute - Alvin Printwhistle


We welcome back once again for his annual visit the very talented, very funny Alvin Printwhstle. As a well respected Elvis Tribute artist Alvin is always in demand. Having been an avid fan of Elvis since childhood Alvin has been presented his tribute to ‘The King’ since 1980. It is important to note that Elvis himself had a great sense of humour and although a tribute show, there is a strong emphasis on humour (you will discover you do not need to be an Elvis fan to enjoy) An Alvin show leans very much on the fun element, with the audience encouraged to participate. As proven a great formula for a fantastic night. Entry £15



The New Honeycombs

The Honeycombs burst onto the pop scene with the worldwide hit number one “ Have I the right” in 1964 followed by another Howard and Blakely composition “That’s the way” followed by other hits “Is it because” and the Ray Davies penned “Something better beginning”.
The New Honeycombs have toured with one of the founder members and now are on tour in their own right recreating the sounds of the Sixties and reflecting The Honeycombs hits.
Catch up with the New Honeycombs and we guarantee you will be singing along with every song and dancing the night away.
