Over the many years we have been hosting live 60's groups,soul artistes and great comedy at the Legion, they have proved to be hugely successful. You're guaranteed a top quality live act along with a great atmosphere and real value for money. It's always best to book first or phoning to check availability. Join us as we raise funds for a great charity dear to our hearts. Tonight we a privileged to have a great entertainer Billy DeLaine who will be singing a great selection of songs from the 50's onwards as well as telling some very funny stories in between

Saturday 15th September - One of the sixties circuits premier bands
The Fortunes are one of the UK's premier harmony groups. A string of hit records including You've Got Your Troubles, Here It Comes Again and Freedom Come Freedom Go, have stood the test of time and still top the play-lists on any radio station. Ask any '60s group who they most admire for their vocal talents and The Fortunes would come out on top. Their last CD sold over 100,000 copies and 'It's The Real Thing' Coca Cola advert is, of course, sung by The Fortunes.This evening will consist of the band playing two 45 minute sets
Saturday 13th October - Top tribute to one of the most successful bands of all-time
Abba Fever, formed in 1996 by Steve Nelson (keyboards) and Pat Rudge (drums), has now been performing for longer than the real Abba!
This award-winning five piece tribute band with five part harmonies, the show transports you back to the 70’s through the biggest hits of the world’s favourite band. Live vocals, stunning musicianship, authentic costumes and exciting choreography all contribute to a spectacular show which gets audiences to their feet night after night.
Saturday 10th November - Son of legendary 'King of Skiffle' Lonnie Donegan
Pete Donegan is a singer, songwriter and musician who has come from a great show business pedigree as he is the son of the legendary King Of Skiffle, Lonnie Donegan. Pete's singing and writing style crosses genres from Country to Blues, from Folk to Reggae and even a pinch of Jazz if your not careful. While obviously Pete is creating a a name for himself as an artist in his own right he is extremely proud of his father's legacy and does carry the torch by performing some of his fathers great hits.
SATURDAY 1st DECEMBER - WE WELCOME BACK 'ALVIN PRINTWHISTLE' (ELVIS TRIBUTE)
We welcome back Alvin for what is now becoming an annual event. Always a fantastic night when Alvin's in the building. The ultimate Elvis tribute combines hilarious comedy and wittiness, together with his sensational vocal talent.

A SUPERB LOCAL BAND - CARNABY STREET
With it’s energetic mix of well loved classics from the 60’s era with a bit of glam rock and soft melodic rock from the early 70’s plus some late 50’s songs from Elvis Presley and The Everly Brothers, thrown in for good measure, Carnaby Street can be relied upon to get the party dancing and singing along.
Carnaby Street's playlist comprises classic covers from the 60’s and early 70’s including songs from The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Searchers, The Kinks, The Shadows, Roy Orbison, Credence Clearwater Revival, Elvis Presley, The Bellamy Brothers, The Mavericks,The Monkees, and a bit of Glam Rock from T. Rex, The Sweet and many many more.

PAYING TRIBUTE TO FRANKIE VALLI & THE FOUR SEASONS -'THE RAGDOLLS'
A celebration of Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons presented by Europe's number one tribute 'The Ragdolls'. The Ragdolls will take you on a musical journey through the sounds odf one of the most successful bands of all time.Classic songs such as 'Sherry' 'Walk like a man' 'Oh what a night' and so many more. The first part of the show will take you back to where it all began, performing the classic 50's songs the 'Four Seasons' started off singing. Hits such as 'Still of the night' 'Oh Carol' 'Teenager in Love' and 'Why do fools fall in love'. With slick choreography and recognisable falsetto this really sets the scene for a great night. Acoustic versions of songs are the highlight in this part of the show which demonstrates the diversity and harmonic sounds as once done by the great band themselves.
The second part of the show is truly party time, where all the famous hits come out, such as, 'Can't take my eyes off you' 'Lets hang on' 'Ragdoll' 'Grease' 'Working my way back to you' plus loads of others.
The Ragdolls are undoubtedly Europe's premier Frankie Valli tribute show.
